I’ve wanted to open an upscale, chef-driven concept in the Fort Worth area for a long time and when we saw this space near the Montserrat neighborhood I knew this was the spot,” said Payne in an official statement. “It’s the perfect backdrop to have a beautiful dining experience inspired by seasonal, fresh ingredients, world travel, nostalgic favorites and our Texas roots in a timeless setting.

“The Dish: Fine dining in the Fort” … The Mont, an elevated dining spot located in the Montserrat neighborhood, is aiming to open in June, according to a PR representative. Chef Michael Duff will lead the restaurant with seasonal menus and a focus on New American cuisine. Dishes will range from homemade pasta and wagyu steaks to seafood.
